Description
This position is designed to directly support students and the Coordinator, Proctoring Services by prepping and administering (proctoring) a variety of tests: course/ course related tests, placement tests, CLEP, GED, Firefighter, Proficiency, and outside institution tests. This position is an integral point of contact for new and current students in addition to serving as a faculty liaison. The Proctoring Specialist prioritizes connecting with parties in a meaningful, trauma-informed way to promote a sense of belonging on campus. They are responsible for managing and maintaining test security, confidentiality and upholding the integrity of the Testing Center. Position is not benefit eligible.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CUSTOMERS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Proctors Accuplacer Assessment in-person, and manages/explains score reports to help move students to the next step. 2.Supports student/ CCMEP staff in learning testing protocols.3.Responsible for administering a variety of academic and specialty tests to students with and without disabilities both virtually and in-person.4.Manages testing appointments, Outlook calendar, testing email inbox and phone calls/voice messages.5.Maintains positive rapport with faculty, staff and students.6.Creates a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for testers.7.Attention to detail and timeliness in test preparation, administration and returning materials to faculty. 8.Answers phones, accessing and responding to voicemail quickly and efficiently. 9.All other duties assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Testing Center experience preferred
  • One to Three years' experience working in a fast-paced office environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
