Looking for a Fun, Active, Rewarding Summer Job?
Are you interested in Making a Difference in the Lives of Local Youth? Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio (BGCNEO) is Now Hiring to fill Seasonal SUMMER Positions for Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) at our Clubs on the WESTSIDE Cleveland, Ohio area. YDPs assist with youth and teen programming at our clubs.
We are looking for Professionals, Educators, College Students and other Friendly people with a passion for working with youth in supervised, fun and safe environments. Our YDPs are responsible for planning and implementing appropriate program activities; tracking, promoting and encouraging program participation; assisting with membership recruitment, and, of course, having FUN!
Summer Positions are generally Part-time, Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week. June through Mid-August.
Starting pay rate is $ 17 per hour. (Mon-Fri, part-time, after-school positions may be available to continue after Summer!)
Available Shifts are approximately 8:00 am-12:00 pm & 12:00 pm- 4:00 pm (*** Full 8-hour shifts MAY become available!)
Responsibilities:
  • Ability to support an exciting, caring and enjoyable educational environment.
  • Team player who can collaborate with peers.
  • Provide guidance and be a Role Model.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with youth preferred.
  • Final candidates must clear a background check and drug test.
  • 18 years of age with a High School Diploma
