Department: Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Schedule: Weekends 24 hours | Part-time 7:00 am to 7:00 pm

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Operate advanced imaging scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images, supporting physicians in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patient pathologies.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and precision to produce optimal diagnostic results.
  • Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety guidelines to ensure a secure and compliant environment for patients and staff.
  • Ensure the prompt and accurate transmission of imaging data to PACS, maintaining comprehensive patient histories and clinical records.
  • Provide patient pre-screening and education, guiding individuals through their examination process to reduce anxiety and ensure clarity.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
