Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, user accounts, and access-related issues
  • Perform onsite support and installations at client locations (typically 1–2 times per week as needed)
  • Install and configure workstations, printers, and network-connected devices
  • Assist with basic server-related tasks (Active Directory, user management, permissions, shared resources)
  • Troubleshoot basic networking issues (connectivity, DHCP, DNS, firewall awareness)
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in the ticketing system
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
  • Take ownership of issues from start to resolution, escalating only when necessary

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support within a helpdesk or MSP environment

  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Long Beach, CA
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Experience working in an MSP environment
  • Exposure to low voltage systems (structured cabling, device installations, patch panels)
  • Experience supporting regulated environments (healthcare, legal, accounting)

Schedule

  • Part-time: 16 to 30 hours per week, depending on business needs

Work Location

  • Remote (work from home) with onsite client visits as required
