Founded in Los Angeles in 2017 by Stephen and Erica Malbon, the brand is rooted in a bold philosophy of self-expression and inclusivity. Its distinctive apparel and accessories set Malbon apart, guided by the power of collaboration and community. From global partnerships with Nike, adidas, and New Balance to ambassadors like PGA Champion Jason Day and LPGA standout Charley Hull, Malbon’s not just reshaping golf—they’re building a movement.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Sales Supervisor to join our Malbon boutique in San Francisco, CA.

This role is perfect for a leader who thrives on the sales floor, motivates others by example, and creates a customer experience that feels authentic, elevated, and connected to our brand culture.

As a Sales Supervisor, you’ll support the Store Manager in driving results and maintaining operational excellence while leading by presence on the floor. You’ll coach team members, oversee daily functions like inventory and merchandising, and ensure every customer interaction reflects Malbon’s commitment to creativity, inclusivity, and the love of the game.

This is a part-time, in-store leadership role with scheduling inclusive of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What You’ll Do
  • Deliver an elevated, customer-first experience while embodying Malbon’s mission and brand values.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor—supporting your team in hitting sales goals and delivering standout service.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to analyze KPIs (conversion, UPT, AOV) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Train, coach, and motivate team members; identify future leaders and support their growth.
  • Support daily operations including inventory management, shipment processing, fitting room oversight, and visual merchandising.
  • Assist with local activations, events, and community-building initiatives that connect the store to its market.
  • Represent Malbon as a cultural ambassador, bringing energy and product knowledge to every interaction.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of retail or customer-facing experience; previous leadership or key holder experience strongly preferred.
  • Passion for golf and culture—a strong understanding of the sport, its traditions, and its intersection with fashion and lifestyle.
  • Proven sales acumen with the ability to engage customers, upsell effectively, and drive results.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and support a team.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Active floor presence, including the ability to stand/walk for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be 18+ years of age.
The Malbon Mindset
  • Customer-Centric & Hospitality-Driven – Creates real, authentic connections and anticipates needs with style and care.
  • Agile & Entrepreneurial – Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment.
  • Team Player with Range – Collaborates openly, gives/receives feedback, and builds trust.
  • Brand Champion & Product Expert – Shares knowledge with passion, using it to educate and inspire.
  • Detail-Oriented & Reliable – Executes tasks with precision while maintaining a premium customer experience.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly rate: $24 to $30, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
  • Bonus eligibility.
  • Employee discount + wardrobe allotment
  • Eligible employees may also access:
  • Medical, Dental & Vision benefits (32+ hours/week)
  • 401(k) program
  • PTO (based on full-time/part-time status and local laws)
  • Employee Assistance Programs (AllOne Health)
Diversity & Inclusion
At Malbon, we celebrate individuality. Our team is built on inclusivity, creativity, and community. We’re committed to fostering a diverse workplace where every employee feels welcomed, respected, and empowered to grow.
