Job Title: CORE Center Student Assistant
Position Type: Student Worker (Part-Time)
Hours/Week: 6 hours/week (schedule may vary based on CORE Center events)
Position Summary
The Conway Medical Center College of Health and Human Performance (CMCCHHP) is seeking a motivated and resourceful CORE Center Student Assistant to support the mission of the CORE Center. This position will be expected to provide high-quality customer service to community participants, assist with program delivery, and promote health and wellness within the campus and surrounding community. The CORE Center Student Assistant position offers undergraduate students the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world, service-based learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active CCU student majoring in Exercise and Sport Science, Health Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Recreation and Sport Management.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sophomore standing or higher preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality in healthcare or wellness settings.
  • Interest in applying academic knowledge to service-based learning opportunities.
  • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within the first semester of employment) preferred.
