JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

MCC's Continuing Education Division is seeking enthusiastic and experienced non-credit instructors to provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences for youth participating in visual arts classes, with a focus on Procreate and/or stop motion animation. Instructors introduce students to concepts in a safe, supportive, and interactive environment. Responsibilities include leading activities, supervising participants, promoting student engagement, and creating a positive learning experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Teaching experience (kids/teens)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to deliver engaging and practical course content

  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping others achieve personal growth and enrichment

  • Familiarity with Procreate and/or stop motion animation

This position will have opportunities for teaching assignments throughout the year.

MCC holds camps and classes at multiple locations throughout the Metro area, including Fremont and Blair. Most summer camps will be held during the weekday. Most classes will be held weeknights and weekends.
