Job Summary
The work study program provides funds for part-time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student's course of study. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules, while providing essential services to the College and the community.
Essential Functions
Assist in planning and organizing Boone Campus STEM Club meetings, activities, and special events.
Help manage and promote local STEM initiatives, including campus-wide recycling efforts.
Update campus bulletin boards, maintain the club website, and facilitate communication with STEM chapters on other campuses (including Urban and Ankeny).
Provide routine operational support for various local STEM projects and activities.
Required Qualifications
Must be interested in being a leader in our STEM Club.
An interest in STEM fields, campus engagement, and sustainability.
Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
Basic computer skills with the ability to assist with website updates.
A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to collaborate with peers across multiple campuses.
