Indiana University (IU) Event Services is Bloomington's leading provider of guest services staffing for sports, academic, and entertainment events. Job Summary
  • Provides exceptional customer service to every guest they encounter to ensure a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Takes on any position including (but not limited to); scanning tickets, guest seating, and assisting in VIP hospitality areas.
  • Assists patrons with accessibility needs.
  • Oversees crowd management to ensure a safe experience for all guests.
  • Understands venue layouts and provides directional assistance to guests.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Sales or customer service experience

Working Conditions / Demands
This role regularly requires the ability to effectively communicate. This role frequently requires the ability to handle equipment. The role requires the ability to detect items in proximity as well as far away; discern between colors; detect objects in peripheral space of self; discern items in detail; and to have good depth perception.
