Job description

What You Will Do:
The Exercise Specialist assists in the care of the cardiac patient in multiple modalities. Provides all patient care in the Cardiovascular department, where appropriate. Performs graded exercise evaluations, place/educate patients on cardiac monitors, perform ekgs, monitor/identify EKG rhythms, and provide lifestyle modification and education, where appropriate.
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelors in Fitness/Sports Studies Required.
  • Bachelor of Science in one of the following areas: Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Human Performance & Recreation, Exercise Physiology
  • Minimum License: BLS (CPR), ACLS
  • Exercise Specialist degree, must have ACSM and ACLS within 1 year of hire.
  • Previous internship in Cardiovascular Diagnostics/Cardiac Rehab Program
