Server Assistant
The Server Assistant provides table service to taproom guests by delivering orders to the table and ensuring that guests have a pleasant dining experience by maintaining table cleanliness. As a Tableside Brand Ambassador, you will serve as the face of our brand in the taproom, engaging with guests to educate them about our products while delivering an outstanding hospitality experience.
Reports to: General Manager or Front of House Manager on duty
Pay: Compensation for this position is $11 per hour + tip share
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean taproom by clearing empty glasses, plates, silverware, and other items from a table to ensure a pleasurable dining experience and efficient turnover of tables for new guests
  • Visually inspect all food leaving expo, ensuring proper plating, sauce application, and presentation; and return any incorrect or improperly cooked orders to the kitchen for correction
  • Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to guests
  • Maintains appropriate levels of inventory/product for the bar, changing kegs when required
  • Assist with other tasks such as cleaning the dining area, restocking server stations, and rolling silverware
  • Assist guests and servers/bartenders with other hospitality functions as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age* (17 allowed in certain counties)
  • Previous experience as a server assistant, utility, or food runner preferred
  • Must maintain a positive attitude while working with a sense of urgency
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Contribute to overall taproom and kitchen cleanliness

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to lift, move, and carry kegs weighing up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping and reaching
