Server
The Server provides table service to taproom guests by taking orders for food and beverages, delivering orders to the table, and ensuring that guests have a pleasant taproom experience. As a Tableside Brand Ambassador, you will serve as the face of our brand in the taproom, engaging with guests to educate them about our products while delivering an outstanding hospitality experience. This role combines product knowledge with exceptional customer service to create memorable interactions that reflect the values and quality of our brand.
Reports to: General Manager or Front of House Manager on duty
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Greet guests timely as they are seated at the table; ensure table is clean and that coasters, utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided
  • Knowledgeable about and able to answer questions regarding all ABV beverages, menu offerings, brewing/cider making processes, etc.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests, teammates, and management
  • Take food and beverage orders and places orders accurately through the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to guests' satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen
  • Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to guests
  • Collect plates and clear the table as guests finish their meals
  • Process guest payments by preparing checks and handling transactions through the POS system
  • Assist with other side work duties such as cleaning the dining area, preparing silverware and refilling condiments
  • Aid in overall cleanliness and maintenance of taproom
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a passion for hospitality and craft beverage
  • Previous experience as a server preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately
  • Strong communication skills and ability to remain composed and respectful under pressure
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to operate the point-of-sale system
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 20 pounds
