This Role:
The Digital Marketing Internship program is a paid, part-time, in-office 10-week internship where you will learn and apply digital marketing practices and get paid to build a portfolio working on real client projects.
As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will be part of the digital team at Red Moon Marketing and get hands-on experience with premier clients. The client list includes The Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola Consolidated, and various other Coca-Cola bottlers, Brown-Forman Beverages Worldwide (Jack Daniel's, Woodford Reserve, Old Forrester, Finlandia, Korbel Champaign, and Ford's Gin), Procter & Gamble, Harris Teeter, Novant Healthcare, Huber Engineered Woods, Zaxby's, and Husqvarna.
During your time at Red Moon Marketing, you will gain experience setting up, optimizing, and managing media campaigns, including paid social, programmatic, and/or paid search. The ideal candidate is eager to learn all things digital marketing and excited to execute media campaigns.
Upon completion of this internship, you will walk away with a strong understanding of how digital media is bought and sold and how to plan, build and execute campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world.
Responsibilities:
  • Learn how to set up and optimize advertising campaigns within platforms such as Google Ads, The Trade Desk, and Yahoo DSP.
  • Document and attend client meetings.
  • Attend and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Design and create basic ad copy and creative
  • Create internal and external presentations.
  • Work hand in hand with account supervisors to bring ideas to life
  • Maintain effective relationships with both internal and client teams.
  • Analyze opportunities and make sound recommendations.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with media reps and vendors.
  • Keep up with the latest trends in advertising and other client-related industries.
  • Attend and participate actively in relevant team, agency, and client meetings.
  • Be an active participant in idea generation, brainstorming, and creative thinking.
  • Grow knowledge of media strategies, ad networks, and emerging digital marketing technology.
  • Be a positive, motivating member of the team.
  • Bring new ideas to the team and champion the use of digital tools and optimizations to deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns.

Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in a four-year college or university and working towards a bachelor's degree.
  • Previous internship experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Knowledge of the media landscape, with a special focus on digital
  • Must be comfortable using Excel to analyze data, create charts, and pivot tables.
  • Ability to use formulas such as VLOOKUP and concatenate within Excel.
  • Comfortable using and learning design software such as Canva.
  • Comfortable building presentations within PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating energy and passion for the work.
  • Effective problem-solver and generator of innovative solutions.
