Description:

Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to support the development of a new pilot initiative focused on integrating live operational data across multiple platforms and systems. This role will play a key part in building the foundational data infrastructure required for reporting, workflow automation, and future AI-driven initiatives.

Design and develop ETL workflows to extract, clean, standardize, and map data across multiple operational platforms and third-party systems.

Build and maintain API integrations to connect business applications and centralize data across environments.

Develop and optimize database structures, data models, and SQL queries to support reporting, automation, and downstream analytics initiatives.

Prepare reliable datasets for dashboards, reconciliation processes, and future AI-related workflows.

Collaborate with a small distributed technical team on milestone planning, implementation, and solution design.

Participate in client-facing discussions and provide technical input when required.

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or related backend data infrastructure roles.

Strong experience with SQL, database design, data modeling, and API integrations.
