Job description

Location: Hybrid
Employment Type: Part-Time (30 hours/week to start, with the opportunity to transition to full-time)

We're looking for an experienced Social Specialist with 3–5 years of professional experience managing social media accounts. You'll own the content strategy and social execution for your assigned client accounts. From researching trends and planning content to publishing, evaluating performance, and optimizing future ideas, you'll help ensure every piece of content supports our clients' business goals.

Working alongside a Crew Chief, Producer, and Editors, you'll own the full content lifecycle for your assigned accounts. You'll proactively plan ahead, maintain a high standard of quality, use performance insights to improve future content, and keep your Crew informed so clients continue to grow.

This role will begin at 30 hours per week, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position if it's the right long-term fit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Content Ideation & Planning

  • Develop strategic content ideas that align with each client's goals, audience, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Crew Chief and Producer to plan upcoming content and shoots.
  • Research platform trends, competitors, and high-performing content to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop content ideas, hooks, scripts, and creative briefs.
  • Maintain content calendars while continuously planning future content opportunities.
  • Stay ahead by ensuring future content is already in development before current content is published.

2. Social Media Account Management

  • Manage content calendars, scheduling, and publishing across multiple client accounts.
  • Coordinate with Editors and Producers to keep content moving efficiently through production.
  • Ensure every deliverable is complete, optimized, and ready before publishing.
  • Serve as the final quality checkpoint before content is added to the content calendar.
  • Surface issues, missing assets, or production risks early so they can be resolved quickly.

3. Content Quality & Optimization

  • Review captions, thumbnails, hashtags, metadata, and formatting to maintain a high standard of quality.
  • Monitor content performance and identify opportunities to improve future content.
  • Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging, and platform best practices.
  • Translate analytics into future content ideas, production recommendations, and content improvements.
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities that improve long-term account performance.

4. Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the Crew Chief, Producer, Editors, and Project Managers throughout the content lifecycle.
  • Communicate proactively about timelines, priorities, opportunities, and potential roadblocks.
  • Bring new ideas, observations, and performance insights to the Crew to strengthen future content.
  • Take ownership of assigned accounts while contributing to an organized and efficient team workflow.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of professional experience managing social media accounts.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Experience developing content strategies and managing the complete content lifecycle for multiple brands.
  • Experience creating content calendars and managing multiple client accounts.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience using social media scheduling tools (Metricool, Later, Buffer, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ClickUp or other project management platforms.
  • Experience working within a creative agency or marketing team.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Creative, curious, and always looking for the next great content idea.
  • A strategic thinker who enjoys turning research and analytics into stronger content.
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Proactive—you think ahead, solve problems early, and don't wait to be told what needs attention.
  • Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for quality before content goes live.
  • Collaborative and communicative, keeping your Crew informed and aligned throughout production.
  • Passionate about social media and continuously learning how platforms evolve.
  • Someone who takes ownership and enjoys seeing ideas turn into measurable client growth.

WHY JOIN US

  • Work alongside a talented and collaborative creative team.
  • Make a direct impact on the growth of a diverse portfolio of brands.
  • Own the content strategy and execution for a variety of client accounts.
  • Work in an environment where your ideas directly influence client success.
  • Opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the team expands.

Please submit:
