Job description

Company: Sticker Invasion
Location: Wilmington, NC
Position Type: Part-Time
Pay: $22-$27/hour, depending on experience and portfolio
Schedule: Approximately 15-20 hours per week, with regular on-site hours

Sticker Invasion is looking for a creative, reliable Part-Time Social Media Content Creator to help us capture, create, and prepare engaging photo and video content for our social media channels.

We make custom stickers, labels, and printed products for artists, small businesses, brands, events, and organizations. Our shop has a lot of visually interesting production happening every day, from printing and cutting to laminating, packaging, shipping, and finished customer orders. We are looking for someone who can turn those moments into content people want to watch.

This role will focus heavily on short-form video, behind-the-scenes content, product photography, and social media-ready creative. The right person should be comfortable capturing content in a working production shop, editing it into polished posts, and helping develop ideas that fit the Sticker Invasion brand.

Responsibilities

  • On site at our Wilmington production shop to capture photo and video content
  • Film sticker, label, and print production processes
  • Capture behind-the-scenes moments, finished products, packaging, customer orders, and shop activity
  • Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
  • Create clean, platform-friendly edits with captions, music, pacing, and basic transitions
  • Take product photos and detail shots that can be used for social media, email, ads, and website content
  • Write caption ideas, short descriptions, and hashtag suggestions for finished content
  • Help plan and organize content around new products, seasonal promotions, customer orders, and shop activity
  • Help brainstorm content ideas that fit the Sticker Invasion brand
  • Identify interesting, satisfying, educational, or visually engaging production moments
  • Organize raw and edited files so they can be reused in future campaigns
  • Assist with scheduling, posting, and basic social media organization as the role grows

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, and comfortable working in a real production environment. You should have a good eye for what makes content engaging and be able to turn ordinary shop moments into content people want to watch.

You may be a good fit if you:

  • Have experience creating short-form social media content
  • Understand what performs well on Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
  • Have a good eye for lighting, framing, composition, and pacing
  • Can edit videos efficiently and consistently
  • Are comfortable filming in a working print and production shop
  • Can take direction while also bringing your own creative ideas
  • Are organized, detail-oriented, reliable and self motivated
  • Enjoy capturing satisfying, behind-the-scenes, product, or small business content
  • Can communicate clearly and work independently once given direction

Nice to Have

  • Experience with product photography or video
  • Experience using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar tools
  • Interest in stickers, printing, packaging, art, design, small businesses, or e-commerce
  • Experience creating content for a brand, business, creator, or product-based company
  • Basic understanding of social media trends, hooks, captions, hashtags, and scheduling tools

Equipment

A strong eye for content matters more than having expensive gear. Basic photo and video equipment can be provided or discussed as needed. Applicants should be comfortable filming and editing short-form content using tools they are already familiar with.

Schedule

This is a part-time position of approximately 15-20 hours per week. The schedule is flexible, but the role requires regular on-site time at our Wilmington, NC production shop in order to capture real production content.

Compensation

Pay is $22-$27/hour, depending on experience, portfolio quality, and ability to work independently.
