Description
Perform various general duties necessary to maintain and enhance the safety and cleanliness of the facility. This will be accomplished by performing the following:
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Wash aircraft exterior
  • Vacuum and detail aircraft interior
  • Assist with aircraft movement
  • Assist maintenance department when requested
  • Assist with wing-walking duties as required
  • Provide shuttle service for passengers/crew as needed
  • Wash and detail member vehicles
  • Position member vehicles under overhang before passenger arrival
  • Organize member keys in dispatch office
  • Purchase cleaning supplies pertaining to the cleaning of member vehicles
  • Fill member vehicles with fuel
  • General building upkeep
  • Clean hangar floors
  • Maintain front entrance and ramp areas clean
  • Marshall arriving aircraft into ramp
  • Assist arriving/departing members with luggage
  • Refill lobby refrigerator with drinks
  • Wash lobby windows
  • Perform snow removal duties
  • Perform basic landscaping and maintenance duties, including spraying for weeds
  • Empty office recycle bins
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effectively communicate through verbal, written and electronic means
  • Effectively interact with all levels of the Company
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Work under minimal supervision
  • Work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays and on call
  • Ability to receive and maintain airport security clearance to work on airport property

Education and Work Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred;
  • Possession of a valid driver's license while maintaining a good driving record

Physical Requirements:
  • Move up to 100 pounds on an infrequent basis
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and climates
  • Medium to heavy work requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching
  • Drive automatic transmission vehicles; manual transmission preferred

Documentation Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US

Compensation:
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to team members. Starting hourly wages for this position ranges from $15 to $24 /hour. Actual hourly rates are provided is dependent upon geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant education, training and experience of the candidate.
