Part-Time Forklift Operator (Evening Shift) – 77032
Schedule: Part-Time, Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Midnight), and sometimes later as needed based on
business demands.
Location: North Houston – 77032
Salary: $17.00 – 19.00 an hour
Position Summary
The Part-Time Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, loading, and unloading of freight within a warehouse environment. This role supports daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and distribution operations while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate various types of powered industrial equipment, including:
    • Stand-Up Forklift
    • Sit-Down Forklift
    • Reach Truck
  • Load and unload trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles.
  • Transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
  • Accurately stage, stack, and store inventory in designated locations.
  • Perform shipping and receiving activities, including verifying freight and documentation.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and storage practices.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience required.
  • Proficiency operating stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and reach trucks.
  • Valid forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification).
  • Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
