Job description

Job Title:ย  EMG Coordinator

Unit:ย  EMG

Shift:ย  Part-Time/Monday 730A-4P; Tuesday-Friday 12P-4Pย 

Facility:ย  Miami Valley North

General Summary/Responsibilities:
Schedules outpatient and inpatient EMG testing. Prep patient testing areas. Escorts patients to testing areas and
prepares them for procedure. Distributes all transcribed documentation, assuring accuracy and completion, to
appropriate physicians in a timely manner. Maintains billing documentation, enters charges, verifies charge entry
accuracy, answers telephones, relays messages, and performs general secretarial functions for the EMG service
area. Responsible for ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate supply levels. This position is responsible for
demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the service area.
