Job Summary

The AM House Attendant is responsible for performing a combination of tasks which maintain the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant and positive guest experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Consistently check and replenish; Maintain the organization, visual appeal, cleanliness, and sanitation of assigned areas.

Ensure clear, concise, efficient, and appropriate communication at all times with Room Attendants, House Attendants, Supervisors, Dispatcher, and management.

Assist Room Attendants with moving/rearranging furniture, removing guest room linen, trash removal, and cleaning balconies/patios.

Prepare, deliver, and collect guest request items- coffee/tea setup, rollaway beds, baby cribs, household items, amenities, etc.

Clean carpets and upholstery using the proper equipment and following cleaning procedures.

Receive and properly store cleaning supply, guest supply, and linen deliveries from the loading dock.

Assist with setup and breakdown of hotel events.

Must be able to cross-train in other Housekeeping and Laundry related areas.

Requirements

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education include:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 - 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Luxury hotel and/or luxury residence experience preferred.

High volume/ fast-paced environment experience preferred.

Intermediate English- verbal.

Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.


Physical Requirements include:

The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally move up to 100 pounds (carts).
