  • managing daily care of residents in skilled nursing/personal care
  • ensuring delivery of quality services and programs; to meet resident expectations
  • effectively communicating with families, medical personnel and other team members as needed
  • ensuring required paperwork, records, MDS and reports are accurate and timely
  • following procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, HIPPA and infection control requirements.
  • advocating for residents to ensure their needs are communicates and addressed with the care team
  • collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop plans to ensure best possible outcomes
  • following all guidelines related to compliance with regulatory, safety, confidentiality, HIPAA and infection control requirements
  • performing other duties to support the effective operations of the healthcare department
