We are North Shore Medical Center Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision.
We service a multitude of patients and their families across our vast network, while remaining committed to the professional development of our staff, the functional improvement of our patients, and the cultivation of strong partnerships within our communities.

As a RN working with our Med/Surg patients, you will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. We currently have full-time day/night.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Delivers professional and technical nursing to patients. Monitors interpret and intervene for patients experiencing cardiac arrhythmia, working under the direction of, and in collaboration with, the medical staff. Performs nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of the patient. Nursing care delivered complies with the objectives and policies of the hospital, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Prepares equipment and assists physicians during treatments and examinations of patients. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit specific standards. Assists in planning, supervising, and instructing Patient Care Assistants, thereby providing nursing care to a number of patients. Knowledge of adherence to monitoring of and compliance with all regulatory and licensing agency guidelines, including but not limited to TJC, OSHA, AHCA, CMS, etc.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience)
Current Florida RN License
Current BLS Certification
Basic Arrhythmia skills
Certified Wound Care Specialist (CWCS) preferred.
Computer Skill, ability to communicate in English
Minimum one to three years experience managing wounds of various etiologies preferred Minimum of one to two years experience working in an Ambulatory setting preferred
