Job description

Senior Helpers Kernersville is expanding and needs your specialized talent in home care and RN License!
The Senior Helpers Part time/RN position will be responsible for on-boarding new clients nurse assessments, plan of care, supervisory visits, and overseeing competencies for our caregivers. This role will cover the Kernersville, Winston Salem ,and Greensboro area. A Senior Helpers vehicle will be provided for transportation and making these home care visits.
Reports To: President/JR
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
  • Perform client assessments; coordinate with the office staff to ensure client starts in a timely manner
  • Perform RN assessments, supervisory visits for clients and caregivers, and skills training
  • On call answering as needed
  • Manage client's concerns, needs, or issues
  • Entering and updating care plans for clients as their needs change
Qualifications
  • Current RN NC license and maintain active license preferred with demonstrated experience growing the Piedmont Triad Region
  • Valid drivers license
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
  • Must have excellent phone skills and follow-up skills with prospects and key influence center personnel
  • Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability

  • Minimum of one-year experience in the home health industry developing and managing
  • Bachelor's degree and three years of related work experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiently in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
  • Ability to learn other software programs quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
