Job description

The Psychiatric RN will provide a combination of direct client care and medication management/admiration services. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, clinically skilled and committed to supporting adults on their recovery journey.
Hiring a part-time RN
Responsibilities:
  • Clinical/Client management that will consist of 30% direct care and 70% of medication management and administrative.
  • Client appointments including taking vitals, giving injections, calling in prescriptions, symptom management and education
  • Assess nature of clients' situations by interviewing and reviewing personal history
  • Develop and execute medical individual treatment plans as needed
  • Determine appropriate milestones to gauge client progress
  • Communicate client updates to all relevant parties
  • Collaboration with medical director residential staff and other psychiatrists
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs
  • Maintain accurate client documentation

Qualifications:
  • RN in the state of Ohio.
  • Previous experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing required.
  • Compassionate professional, and client centered approach to care.
  • Experience working with adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment.
  • Strong communication, organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License & proof of current auto insurance.
