Type of Position: Nurse

Position Hours: 

Part-time Floor Nurse (RN or LPN), in Skilled Nursing : 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm); 8-hours/week 

  • Week 1: Saturday
  • Week 2: Sunday

Part-time RN, in Assisted Living : 2nd Shift (4pm-8pm); 4-hours/week 

  • Week 1: Sunday
  • Week 2: Saturday

Pay: Starting at $26-$48 dollars per hour base, pay increases based on licensure and years licensed. Shift & weekend diff eligible.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The nurse is responsible for administering high quality, accurate, and person-centered nursing care to all assigned residents on his/her shift. Tasks may include the accurate and timely administration of medications and treatments, observational and clinical documentation, assisting in emergency calls, and updating Supervisors of changes.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Assists in the supervision and direct care of residents and nursing personnel.
  • Administers direct care as assigned.
  • Gives and receives reports.  
  • Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition. 
  • Assists in developing comprehensive care plans

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted RN/LPN license in Connecticut is required.
  • Current CPR and IV certifications are required.
  • Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing is required.
