Job description

Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitiation at St. Camillus, Fairfield County's premier 124 bed LTC and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse Supervisor, every weekend, for our 11p-7a shift.

The Registered Nurse Supervisor must:

  • Be responsible for the overall operation and quality of care for the residents on the assigned unit.

  • Be able to follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and the Nursing Policies and Procedures.

  • Have the ability to read, write and comprehend English; the ability to follow oral and written instructions.

  • Have an Interest in the nursing needs of aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both.

  • Have to ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and facility staff in the performance of duties and work within a team system

  • Be available to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment. on call, as necessary.

  • Minimum one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred.

  • Have knowledge of nursing theory and practice, including the administration of medications

  • CPR/IV certified

Qualified Applicants will possess:

  •  A Valid State of Connecticut RN License

  • At least one year of experience within Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facility setting

  • Have previous experience in a Supervisor role within a SNF
