Job description

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, medication management, and treatment planning for patients with various psychiatric conditions. This role is fully remote, offering flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management via Telehealth.
  • Diagnose and treat patients with mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and other mental health conditions.
  • Develop and modify treatment plans, ensuring evidence-based and patient-centered care.
  • Educate patients on medications, treatment options, and lifestyle interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system (PracticeQ or other platform).
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in Texas (Required)
  • Board Certification as a PMHNP (ANCC) (Required)
