Family Nurse Practitioner- Primary Care Opportunities In Providence, Rhode Island

We are seeking nurse practitioners interested in managing their own patient panel, working with experienced support staff and alongside other colleagues for specialty collaboration. Do you want to grow your career in primary care?

The Providence Community Health Centers, with 8 outpatient primary care clinics in the city of Providence, offers:

  • WORK-LIFE BALANCE: Full-time is 4 clinic weekdays plus one day of remote Admin time. No weekends.
  • COLLABORATION: Each of our primary care clinics has a team of providers including Nurse Practitioners, Family Physicians, Internists, Pediatricians, Ob-Gyns, CNMs, Behavioral Health counselors and access to clinical Pharmacists.
  • STAFF SUPPORT: Each primary care clinician leads their team including an RN and medical assistant.
  • IN-HOUSE REFERRALS: Our specialty clinics include optometry, podiatry, dental, rheumatology, and asthma-allergy.
  • EMR is Epic with access to Ai scribe and translation for best practice.
  • DIVERSE PATIENTS AND REWARDING WORK: Our clinicians have a heart for community health and the cultural competency to care for a diverse patient population.

Nurse Practitioners can opt for adult-only panel, or a lifespan panel, based on their experience and interests.

Qualifications:

  • Family Nurse Practitioner with 2-3+ yearsโ€™ experience as primary care provider.
  • Medical License in Rhode Island
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
