Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Pain Management

$250 Half Day | $400 Full Day | Flexible Schedule | DFW Area

A growing interventional pain management practice in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a flexible part-time/PRN position.

This role includes a combination of in-person and telehealth appointments. We treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, including patients receiving treatment following motor vehicle accidents.

An active Texas NP/APRN license and active DEA registration are required.

What You'll Do

  • Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
  • Provide both in-person and telehealth appointments
  • Evaluate and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
  • Develop and follow individualized treatment plans
  • Order and review diagnostic imaging and appropriate testing
  • Prescribe and manage medications as clinically appropriate
  • Coordinate care with physicians and other members of the clinical team
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • Provide professional and compassionate patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted Texas APRN/Nurse Practitioner license
  • Current Texas prescriptive authority
  • Active DEA registration – REQUIRED
  • Current NPI
  • Comfortable providing both in-person and telehealth care
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:

  • Pain management or interventional pain
  • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
  • Orthopedics
  • Neurology
  • Urgent care
  • Motor vehicle accident/injury patients

Previous pain management experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a part-time/PRN position with a flexible schedule. The position may include full and half clinic days and a combination of in-person and virtual patient visits.

Compensation:

  • $400 per full day
  • $250 per half day

We're looking for an NP who is dependable, personable, clinically confident, and comfortable working with a reasonable degree of independence.
