Job Description:

We are seeking a Clinical Research Physician (Endocrinologist) to join our clinical trials team in Chandler, AZ. This part-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research while applying your expertise in adult primary and specialty care. You will play a key role in ensuring patient safety, maintaining protocol compliance, and supporting high-quality execution of early- to late-phase clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) for Phase I-IV clinical trials.

  • Perform eligibility assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations for study participants.

  • Provide clinical oversight and medical care in compliance with study protocols, GCP, and ICH guidelines.

  • Work closely with study coordinators, nurses, and other staff to ensure accurate documentation and protocol adherence.

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. with an active, unrestricted Arizona medical license.

  • Board certification in Internal Medicine required; subspecialty in Endocrinology strongly preferred.

  • Valid DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification.

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical trial/research experience preferred (training available for strong candidates).

  • Experience in managing patients with chronic and complex conditions (e.g., diabetes, endocrine disorders, dementia, addiction medicine) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory compliance, and clinical trial documentation.

  • Proficiency with EHR, EDC, and CTMS platforms.
