Remote Intervention Specialist / Case Manager โ€“ Michigan

Location: Remote, Michigan

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Intervention Specialist / Case Manager to support K-12 students in a remote school-based setting throughout Michigan. This position focuses on special education case management, IEP development, compliance, and collaboration with students, families, and educational teams to ensure student success.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in special education processes, documentation, and state compliance requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary case manager for assigned special education students
  • Develop, write, and maintain compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct annual reviews, reevaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, administrators, and families
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation
  • Participate in virtual meetings, including IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Monitor student progress and advocate for appropriate educational supports and services

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Active Michigan Special Education Certification
