What is a part time remote RN?

A Part Time Remote RN is a Registered Nurse who works part-time hours and performs their duties remotely, often from home, using technology to communicate with patients and healthcare teams. These nurses may provide telehealth services, patient education, case management, or triage support over the phone or online. This role allows nurses to balance work with other commitments while still using their clinical skills to support patient care. What are some common challenges faced by part-time remote RNs, and how can they be managed?

Part-time remote RNs often face challenges such as maintaining effective communication with healthcare teams, managing time efficiently across multiple patients or tasks, and adapting to limited in-person interaction with both colleagues and patients. To overcome these, it's important to leverage digital communication tools, establish a consistent work routine, and proactively seek support or clarification when needed. Regular check-ins with supervisors and peers can also help remote RNs stay integrated with the team and ensure high-quality patient care.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time remote RN, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Remote RN, you need an active RN license, strong clinical judgment, and solid experience in nursing practice. Job description

Part Time Telemedicine Provider (NP or PA) - Colorado (Remote)
SynergenX is seeking a Part Time Telemedicine Provider to care for patients throughout Colorado via telehealth. Candidates must hold an active Colorado license and current Colorado DEA registration. This is a fully remote, W-2 position.
SynergenX is a leader in evidence-based hormone optimization and wellness care, providing comprehensive treatment for both biological men and women. Providers evaluate and treat patients through personalized hormone replacement therapy (HRT), medical weight management, and preventive healthcare with the goal of improving overall health, wellness, and quality of life.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, patient-focused Physician Assistant (PA) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who enjoys building long-term patient relationships and practicing evidence-based medicine in a collaborative telemedicine environment.
We welcome applications from both experienced providers and newer graduates who have already obtained their Colorado DEA registration and are ready to begin practicing. Candidates must possess all required licensure and registrations at the time of application, as the company does not reimburse or sponsor licensure costs.
We are seeking a provider who can begin employment with minimal delay. Candidates who can complete the hiring and credentialing process promptly, including verification of an active Colorado license, DEA, NPI, and board certification, are strongly preferred.
This position is being hired as a part-time role, with Monday and Tuesday required each week. There is also the expectation of adding one additional day, either Wednesday or Thursday, based on business needs and mutual availability. As patient volume continues to grow, this position may evolve into a full-time opportunity in the future; however, no timeline or guarantee of full-time employment is implied.
Requirements
  • Strong clinical assessment and medical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent patient communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Active Colorado Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license with Colorado APRN licensure (Family specialty only) or an active Colorado Physician Assistant license under your primary taxonomy NPI.
  • Current Colorado DEA registration (required at the time of application; no company reimbursement is provided).
  • Current National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Current board certification applicable to your profession.
  • NPI number and board certification information must be disclosed during the application process to be considered.
  • No current or pending malpractice claims or disciplinary actions.
  • Experience or a strong interest in hormone replacement therapy, preventive medicine, men's health, women's health, and medical weight management is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Schedule
  • Part-time W-2 position.
  • Monday and Tuesday are required workdays.
  • Candidates must also be available to work either Wednesday or Thursday as patient demand requires.
  • Patients are scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Mountain Time.
  • Fully remote while providing telemedicine services to patients located throughout Colorado.
  • Opportunity for additional hours as patient volume grows. While this role has the potential to become full-time in the future, no guarantee or specific timeline can be provided.
Training
Seven days of paid remote training designed to prepare you to confidently and effectively begin treating patients using SynergenX clinical protocols and telemedicine systems.
Compensation
Part-time remote compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
Benefits
  • Fully remote position.
  • Company-provided IT equipment.
  • Company polos provided.
  • Malpractice insurance provided.
  • Supervising Physician provided.
  • Employee discounts.
  • 401(k) with company matching, if eligible under plan requirements.

Benefits such as medical, dental, vision, PTO, and CME reimbursement become available if the position transitions to a benefits-eligible full-time role in accordance with company policy.
If you are passionate about helping patients achieve optimal health through evidence-based hormone optimization, medical weight management, and preventive healthcare, and you enjoy caring for both male and female patients, we encourage you to apply. Join a growing organization dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through innovative telemedicine services while having the opportunity to grow with our expanding telehealth program.
