Associate Designer As our new Associate Designer, your primary goal is to wear several hats as our owner’s right-hand. Because we’re a small firm, you’ll have the opportunity to provide support to a broad spectrum of tasks relating to our residential and commercial clients. Your day-to-day work will be largely self-directed. You’re well-equipped in dealing with clients and trades and feel comfortable managing projects from start to finish. Your main responsibilities will vary anywhere from sourcing fabrics, materials and product to designing floor plans, kitchens, bathrooms, millwork, and custom furniture, along with developing presentations and client binders. You’ll be involved in each step of the design process, from the initial concept and planning to the final reveal. The Details This is a part-time position with a competitive wage. You’ll have the opportunity to go full-time based on your performance. On Monday’s we meet at one of Toronto’s trendiest communal work spaces, where we plan out our week. From there, we could be on a job site, working from home or on the road.
