Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Vacation Rental Property Reservations Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a reservations specialist, you will be responsible for managing the reservations process for our vacation rental properties. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. This position requires computer literacy and experience in Hotel/Timeshare reservations.

Summary Of The position:

Responsibilities:

  1. Reservation Management:
  • Handle all aspects of the reservations process for our vacation rental properties.
  • Respond to inquiries and booking requests from guests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist guests in finding the most suitable vacation rental property based on their preferences and needs.
  • Coordinate with property owners or managers to ensure availability and accurate booking information.
  • Manage the reservation calendar and update availability as needed.
  • Process reservations, collect necessary payments, and provide guests with booking confirmations and relevant details.

Customer Service:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Answer guest questions, address concerns, and provide recommendations for local attractions, amenities, and services.
  • Handle any post-booking inquiries or modifications requested by guests.
  • Assist guests in resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during their stay, coordinating with property owners or managers when necessary.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all reservations, payments, and guest interactions using our reservation management system.
  • Generate regular reports on reservations, occupancy rates, and revenue to support decision-making and performance evaluation.

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners and managers.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless guest experiences and optimize property performance.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the vacation rental industry or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using reservation management systems or booking platforms (LiveRez, Track etc.)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a reliable internet connection and suitable workspace.
