What does a part time remote Java backend developer do?

A Part Time Remote Java Backend Developer designs, builds, and maintains the server-side logic of web applications using the Java programming language, typically working fewer hours than a full-time employee and performing their duties from a remote location. They focus on developing APIs, integrating databases, and ensuring the application's performance, scalability, and security. These developers often collaborate with front-end teams and other stakeholders using virtual communication tools to deliver robust software solutions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time remote Java backend developer?

To thrive as a Part Time Remote Java Backend Developer, you need strong proficiency in Java programming, understanding of backend frameworks like Spring Boot, and experience with RESTful API development, typically demonstrated by a degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
