About the role
Looking for a strong Epic PB Analyst to support a part-time engagement (20 hrs/week) over a 3-month assessment - great option if you're looking for some extra hours.
What you'll do
  • Assess current PB setup and workflows
  • Evaluate readiness across key service lines
  • Help define billing best practices
  • Build a roadmap toward a full PB install
  • West Coast client currently running on an HB-based setup and looking to move to PB post-assessment.
  • Play a key role in supporting the strategic direction and execution of medium-priority client contracts involving Epic EHR software, ensuring coordination between internal teams and clients to meet contract objectives.
  • Provide advanced guidance and support to internal teams and clients, utilizing your strong knowledge of Epic EHR software to improve system performance and enhance user experience.
  • Contribute to the analysis, design, and execution of Epic EHR system solutions for client contracts, ensuring quality specifications and seamless integration with client workflows.
  • Assist in troubleshooting complex issues within the Epic EHR system for client contracts, conducting in-depth analysis to identify root causes, and proposing solutions to improve system stability and user satisfaction.
  • Document Epic EHR system configurations, workflows, and processes clearly, ensuring documentation is accessible to both technical teams and end users.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of internal documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials focused on Epic EHR software to foster team collaboration and process consistency.
  • Assist with the change control process for Epic EHR related to client contracts, ensuring smooth migration of application builds and compliance with internal standards.
  • Contribute to ad hoc initiatives and internal efforts related to Epic EHR software, offering technical insights, and helping to develop documentation reflecting contract outcomes and lessons learned.
  • Monitor and report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Epic EHR system performance related to client contracts, identifying potential issues and suggesting improvements for future planning.
  • Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring clear documentation of decisions and follow-up actions related to client contracts involving Epic EHR.

Qualifications
  • Epic certification in the relevant application(s), coupled with a demonstrable track record of successful implementations and optimizations
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in providing application support, implementation, or training within the Epic ecosystem, showcasing a deep understanding of the intricacies of the platform
  • Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes
  • Ability to take on-call rotations outside of core business hours, including nights and weekends, if needed
