The Iron County School District supports families in developing college and career readiness by BUILDING knowledge, skills and relationships for ALL. Empowering ALL to learn at high-levels through systematic district and school-wide supports.
Online Programs is seeking a Part Time REMOTE Outreach Coach to work 27.5 Hours per week.
The Outreach Coach is responsible for the mentoring of students and many of the logistical operations of online programs. The Outreach Coach will work with other outreach coaches, teachers, school counselors, administrators, and secretarial staff.
  • Collaborate with Online Director, School Counselor, Teachers, and Secretaries to establish processes
  • Monitor student attendance, establish student success plans and track students' progress
  • Build trusting relationships with students to uncover barriers and challenges that are impacting their success in an online environment
  • Find creative solutions and connect students with resources (academic, social, emotional, etc.)
  • Conduct regular one on one meetings with assigned students and their parents
  • Collaborate with and engage parents/guardians through phone calls, meetings, and home visits
  • Provide tutoring and other support with school work (k-12)
  • Collaborate with online school staff and providers
  • Other duties as needed
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance and job performance is required
  • Must have basic computer knowledge, be familiar with Google docs and check email frequently. Must be willing to learn and use all computer systems and software as needed.
