Remote IP Litigation Paralegal (Part-Time)

Location: Fully Remote (U.S.)
Compensation: $30/hour
Schedule: Approximately 80 hours per month

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IP Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in intellectual property disputes and related litigation matters. This role will assist with trademark, copyright, patent, enforcement, and commercial litigation matters from pre-suit through resolution.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in a remote environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys through all phases of litigation.
  • Manage case calendars, court deadlines, and litigation schedules.
  • Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, cease and desist letters, settlement documents, and other legal filings.
  • Coordinate filings in federal and state courts, TTAB, and other applicable forums.
  • Organize and maintain electronic case files and litigation records.
  • Assist with trademark, copyright, patent, and enforcement-related disputes.
  • Collect, review, and organize evidence and discovery materials.
  • Prepare exhibits and supporting documents for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial.
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties.
  • Maintain accurate case notes, matter updates, and litigation records.
  • Assist with subpoena tracking, document productions, and case management tasks.
Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation paralegal experience.
  • Experience with federal and state court filing procedures.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred

  • Intellectual property litigation experience.
  • Experience with TTAB proceedings.
  • Familiarity with e-filing systems and litigation support software.
