Job Full DescriptionPosition SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time HR Assistant to support our client's Human Resources department with sourcing, screening, scheduling, and onboarding candidates while also providing general administrative support to the HR team.
Schedule- Part-time position
- Approximately 20-30 hours per week
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Talent Acquisition- Post and maintain job advertisements on various job boards and recruiting platforms.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings via phone and email.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruiting records.
- Assist with reference checks, background screenings, and pre-employment processes.
- Support onboarding activities for new hires.
- Develop candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Human Resources Support- Assist with onboarding paperwork and new hire orientation.
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Assist with special HR projects and administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.
Qualifications- Previous recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or HR experience required.
- Understanding of recruiting processes and candidate management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
Preferred Experience- Experience working in a staffing agency, recruiting firm, or corporate HR department.
- Experience recruiting for professional, industrial, manufacturing, administrative, or skilled labor positions.
- Familiarity with job boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
- Knowledge of onboarding and employment documentation processes.
