Job description

StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking qualified candidates to support The Financial and Program Management Support Services (FPMSS) Program at The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), part of the Naval Sea Systems Command. Providing critical support to the Navy, other military services, and government agencies by ensuring efficient financial and program management across various departments, programs, and platforms. The positions are contingent upon contract award.
Work locations under this contract include: NSWC Port Hueneme, CA.
The FPMSS program encompasses a wide range of services designed to enhance financial and program management processes, ensure compliance, and support mission-critical operations. Support will be across multiple departments, and platforms across various CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Key business and technical functions of support include:
  • Financial Management: Budgeting, financial analysis, risk management, reporting, N-ERP utilization, funds reconciliation, travel authorization review, purchase card management, and audit support.
  • Program Management: Project planning, resource management, risk mitigation, schedule management, performance monitoring, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and digital terrain modeling support.
  • Comptroller Support: Financial planning, budget development, reporting, internal controls, and policy development.
  • Program and Customer Support: Strategic planning, risk identification, progress monitoring, stakeholder communication, training management, procurement support, records management, and conference facility management.
  • Technical Support: Support for various combat and weapons systems, platforms, and locations.

Experience Requirements:
  • Junior through Senior positions.
  • Experience with MS Office, Excel
  • Experience with Navy Financial Management Systems. i.e. Navy-ERP, and other Management and Acquisitions Systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related business discipline
  • Allowable Substitution: Additional experience and training may be substituted depending on the position.

Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
