Receptionist

Part-time (24-30 hours per week)

Matawan, NJ

Become part of a friendly team that is passionate about holistic hair care and nature inspired products. Our busy and growing salon is driven to exceed our clients’ expectations by providing sustainable and clean hair solutions in addition to unparalleled customer service. We strive for our clients to not only love their hair, but to enjoy the entire salon experience. We are searching for a dependable and customer service oriented receptionist to grow with our team and support our amazing clientele.

You will be responsible for:

Greeting customers who enter the salon in a friendly and welcoming manner

Answer incoming calls and emails from current and prospective clients

Assist clients, in-person and over the phone, with booking appointments

Processing payments and providing receipts

Develop meaningful relationships with salon clientele and stylists

Maintaining client records (contact information, previous services purchased, etc.)

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service oriented position

Strong computer skills

Flexible availability (salon is open Wednesday through Sunday)

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience using reservation or booking software a plus

Experience working within a salon or beauty related business a plus

Night and weekend availability a plus
