About Our Family
We are a family of four consisting of two boys, ages 8 and 5, who will both be in school full-time starting mid-August. They are sweet, kind, and energetic, with a natural curiosity and enthusiasm for their activities. Both children are involved in after-school sports, including tennis, golf, and jujitsu. We are also a pet-friendly family with two French Bulldogs.
Mom is a stay-at-home parent who takes immense pride in raising the children and maintaining the household. She loves being present for the boys, but recognizes that managing every aspect of the household isn't sustainable. We are highly driven, detail oriented organized people who thrive on specific systems and routines. Our home is already well organized and structured. We just need someone to help maintain and execute those detailed systems so our family can focus on what matters most.
Our family places a significant emphasis on privacy. We enjoy a quieter lifestyle and prefer to keep our personal matters to ourselves. We maintain clear boundaries between our family life and professional relationships, and we place a high value on discretion. The family is deeply respectful of each other, and everyone we work with. Kindness, mutual respect, and clear expectations are fundamental to our family dynamic.
Over the next year, we will be tearing down our current home and rebuilding from the ground up. This means multiple moves - into a rental, out of a rental, and eventually into our newly constructed home. These transitions will require flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive mindset. Some weeks will be busier than others, and routines will shift as construction progresses. We need someone who is energized by dynamic environments and ready to roll with all of the changes that will come.
As we navigate this exciting yet challenging time, we are looking for someone who can provide the long term support we need to keep our home running smoothly. The ideal candidate will help us maintain organization, ensure the household's daily tasks are taken care of, and assist with the transitions ahead as we move into a rental and eventually into our new home. Above all, we value discretion, kindness, and respect, and we are seeking someone who will blend seamlessly into our family dynamic while upholding these strong values.
Who You Are
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, discreet and proactive estate manager who can seamlessly integrate into our home and support our needs with professionalism. You are calm and respectful, with a quiet mature presence. You understand the value of maintaining boundaries, both with the family and the children. You take pride in doing things the right way, even when it requires extra effort. You must be able to anticipate needs, take initiative, and stay ahead of tasks without needing constant direction. Your approach to work should be focused and efficient.
You are someone who can handle specific feedback without taking it personally. You understand that our household has particular ways of doing things, and you are willing to learn and follow detailed instructions. You are reliable and professional, and you bring a can-do attitude to every task. You are the kind of person who sees what needs to be done and does it without waiting to be told.
You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift, and flexibility is essential, especially with the upcoming transitions and construction phase. You understand that the next few years will bring moving logistics, construction coordination, and shifting priorities. You are kind, calm, polite, and respectful.
Above all, you value mutual respect, clear communication, and professionalism. You exercise sound judgment and operate with a high level of discretion in all that you do. You demonstrate a strong commitment to build a respectful, productive working relationship based on trust and accountability. If you are someone who takes pride in maintaining systems, enjoys helping with organization and planning, and can fit into a home where privacy and professionalism are highly valued, you will be a great long term fit for our family.
