Job description

Job Tittle: Part- Time NP/PA Needed – Irving Primary Care

DFW Medical Clinic in Irving, TX is looking for full-time Nurse practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team.

Clinic candidates must currently reside in DFW area.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, providing high-quality, patient-centered care, and managing both acute and chronic conditions via telemedicine, as well as traditional in person care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients of all ages via telemedicine, as well as traditional in person care.
  • Manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, preventive care, and health screenings.
  • Perform in-office procedures as appropriate to training and scope.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records (EHR).
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership and staff to ensure excellent patient care and workflow efficiency.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Comply with all clinical, regulatory, and quality standards required by state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Licensed NP, PA, in the state of Texas
  • Active, unrestricted DEA license is preferred
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent direct primary care experience.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
  • Must be able to treat all ages.
  • Must be credentialed or eligible for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and major commercial insurance plans.
  • Proficient with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Compensation:

  • $65 per hour for weekday coverage

  • $70 per hour for Sunday coverage

  • Employer-provided malpractice insurance

  • Supervising physician coverage and required delegation support

  • Health insurance eligibility after 90 days

  • Six paid days off annually after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period

Work Location: Irving, Texas

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

  • Tuesday: 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

  • Wednesday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

  • Thursday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

  • One Sunday per month: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

(No nights, on-call shifts, or major holidays unless mutually agreed)


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Irving, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Language:

  • Spanish (Preferred) and English (Required)
