Part-Time Payroll Specialist

Salary Range: $75,000–$90,000 DOE

As a Part-Time Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role supporting payroll operations for a large workforce, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. The ideal Part-Time Payroll Specialist is organized, proactive, and experienced with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements.
Responsibilities for the Part-Time Payroll Specialist:
- Process weekly payroll for approximately 350 employees with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage certified payroll reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Calculate and maintain prevailing wage requirements across multiple projects
- Utilize LCPtracker for project payroll reporting and documentation
- Maintain payroll records, support audits, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll issues
Qualifications for the Part-Time Payroll Specialist:
- Preferred degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Certified payroll experience required, including prevailing wage regulations
- Experience processing high-volume payroll, preferably in construction environments
- Experience using LCPtracker; familiarity with UKG and/or Spectrum preferred (union payroll experience a plus)
