Job description

Job Overview

We’re looking for an organized, dependable PT Office Clerk to join our trucking team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support dispatch and office staff with daily office operations, enhance customer service, and ensure smooth administrative workflows. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and able to handle various clerical tasks efficiently. Hours are from 9am - 2pm daily.


Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk duties, including filing, organizing driver paperwork, updating load information, driver logs, scanning documents
  • Support office management with activities such as assistance with billing and compliance documents.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office applications and QuickBooks accounting software
  • Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries via phone or email and ensuring client communication is clear and courteous


Experience

  • Previous office experience in clerical or administrative roles preferred, especially within transportation or logistics companies
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Strong computer literacy with excellent typing, data entry, proofreading, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work accurately with time-sensitive information
