Overview
SUMMARY:
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper coordination and execution of various task orders supporting the Center for Countermeasures. This position involves close coordination with test engineers, government personnel and facility operators. This is a part-time/temporary position directly supporting activities at various locations throughout the US. The position is remote/hybrid but must be based out of Huntsville, Alabama.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and oversee all aspects of task order(s) to ensure they are completed on-time and within budget
• Have overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing
• Prepare activity and financial reports for submission and dissemination at executive levels
• Must be able to attend on-site meetings in Huntsville, Alabama at company, contractor, and/or Government locations
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE:
Education:
• Advanced technical certifications in aeronautics, radio frequency (RF), electro optical (EO), or guided weapon systems and a Bachelors Degree
Experience:
• Possess a minimum of 10 years' experience in aeronautics, test & evaluation, and/or guided weapon systems
• Possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in quality assurance and/or quality control
• Proven ability to manager/supervisor small teams supporting simultaneous tasks
Requirements:
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Have no felony convictions and no convictions that reflect on the individual's reliability including those crimes classified under the Lautenberg Act.
• Be a citizen of the United States.
• Possess a valid state driver's license.
• Proficiency with Windows Office products
• Must obtain/maintain up to a DoD TS clearance
• Drug testing and screening will be conducted prior to hiring an employee.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to accept and respond to new emergent and unique project task requirements.
• Ability to present ideas clearly and succinctly both in writing and verbally to co-workers, team members, internal department groups and personnel as well as outside entities to include other departments.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• The work will primarily be in a remote office setting however, travel can be expected to be up to 5%

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
May require lifting up to 25 pounds.
WORK AUTHORIZATION / SECURITY CLEARANCE:
DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
