Summary Job Description

The Program Assistant will work across programming initiatives of the Dr. Michael and Catherine Bullock Community and Recreation Center to ensure high quality and adequate program administration coverage. The position is part-time and reports to the Manager of the Bullock Center.
Responsibilities
1. Programs
  • Be available to lead and or assist with program implementation across all programming areas of the Bullock Center.
  • Assist with events planning, preparation and implementation
  • Assist with admissions and registration process
  • Participate with youth in drop-in activities such as games, cards, and reading
  • Ensure all rules and regulations of the Bullock Center are followed at all times, bringing any issues to the attention of the Director
2. Maintenance
  • Assist with facility cleaning and maintenance on a regular basis
  • Ensure program areas, especially the Learning Center and the Community Room, are neat and tidy at all times
