Note: These are 2 vacancies for part-time Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting September 8, 2026 and ending December 18, 2026. Expected teaching days and hours could be from Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Note:These in-person positions are located at 369 Finkle St, Woodstock, ON N4V 1A3.
Fanshawe College is seeking 2 highly motivated and industry-experienced individuals to teach within our Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning programs. The successful candidates will prepare and deliver theoretical and hands-on instruction that supports student success while ensuring graduates are prepared to meet industry, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Why This Role Is Important
Reporting to the Associate Dean, part-time Professors at Fanshawe College are responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an effective learning environment for students. Availability for in-person on campus delivery is required, and the successful candidates will be required to perform work within Ontario.
The successful candidates will contribute to curriculum delivery, student mentorship, program quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Teaching responsibilities may include refrigeration systems, heating systems, electrical controls, air distribution systems, hydronics, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, safety practices, and related trade theory.

What You'll Bring
TSSA Gas Technician 2 Certificate of Qualification (required)
Post-secondary 2-year diploma in a relevant field, and/or Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic (313D)
Minimum 5 years' recent industry experience
Working knowledge of trade related hand tools and testing equipment
Proficiency with CSA B149 Gas Installation Codes and associated Ontario Regulations
College level teaching experience and student evaluations are assets
Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
Excellent communicator (verbal/writing)
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
Strong computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
