Job description

Assistant Clinical Professor Faculty Of Anesthesiologist Assistant Studies (Part Time)

Reporting to the Anesthesiologist Assistant Program Director, the Assistant Clinical Professor Faculty member (a 12 month, non-tenure position) combines faculty and administrative responsibilities in order to ensure the efficient operation of the didactic and/or clinical phases of the program as needed. This position requires the individual to assist in one or both of the 1st or 2nd year of the program, as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the recruiting and interviewing of applicants, student advising and guidance, course coordination, didactic and clinical instruction and program evaluation and assessment. The Assistant Clinical Professor Faculty member assists the Director, Assistant Program Director and the Academic and Clinical Coordinators in assuring compliance with University policies and procedures and identifying competencies for the AA Program that reflect the knowledge and skills necessary for the successful completion of the Program, CAAHEP accreditation, passing of the NCCAA board examinations, and professional practice. This is a 0.50 FTE position.
