Job Description: Part-Time Production Associate
Job Type: Part-Time Pay: $15.00 per hour
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Summary:
The Part-Time Production Associate plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of Lord Baltimore Uniform's industrial laundry facility. This hands-on position is responsible for sorting and inspecting garments, folding towels, operating commercial washers and dryers, and assisting in the wash aisle. Associates will push and pull heavy carts using a dolly, operate multiple machines simultaneously, and follow written and oral instructions to meet production goals. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality. Team members may be asked to fill in for other roles and perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort, inspect, and fold uniforms and garments according to company standards
  • Perform towel folding and bundling tasks with attention to cleanliness and presentation
  • Assist in the wash aisle, including loading/unloading washers and dryers, and handling soiled linens
  • Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other production equipment safely and efficiently
  • Push/pull carts weighing 50 to 400 lbs. using a dolly throughout the shift
  • Operate multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining workflow efficiency
  • Follow written and oral instructions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and wash areas
  • Ensure quality control by identifying damaged or missing items
  • Assist with inventory tracking and product labeling
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
  • Fill in for other production positions as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Physical Requirements:
  • Push/pull carts weighing 50 to 400 lbs. using a dolly
  • Lift up to 30 lbs. regularly
  • Stand for up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift
  • Comfortable working in warm, humid, and noisy environments typical of laundry operations
