Job description

Role purpose/ summary:

The Post-ProductionSupervisorreports directly tothe Technical Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operational workflow of audio post-production services, including dialogue editing, mixing, and audio deliverables for film, television, and multimedia clients.

This roleis responsible forcoordinating the technical execution of projects across multiple post-productionrooms, supervisingschedulingand resource allocation, and ensuring projects are delivered on time andto requiredtechnical specifications. The position works closely with dialogue editors, mixers, scheduling teams, production management, and engineering staff tomaintainefficient workflows and resolve operational challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • SuperviseAudio Engineers, Mixers, and technical operators to ensure they meet production deadlines, quality specifications, and personnel needs.

  • Support the Technical Manager in implementing operational improvements and workflow efficiencies.

  • Assistinmaintainingconsistent quality control standards across projects.

  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve operational issues that mayimpactdelivery timelines.

  • Coordinate room bookings andtaskassignments across multiple audio suitesand freelancers.

  • Meet with direct reportsto evaluate workloads and progresstobest assist them with any pressure points in their projects.

  • Oversee and delegate special projects toappropriate resources.

  • Support implementation of new tools, systems, or workflows introduced by Studio Operations leadership.

  • Escalate potential delivery risks to the Technical Manager when necessary.

  • Ensure clear communication between production teams, scheduling, and technical staff.

  • Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, and vendors to ensure equipment ismaintainedand engineer resources are continually trained and mentored.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in audio post-production, dubbing, or localization workflows.

  • Strong understanding of dialogue editing, mixing, and audio post-production pipelines.

  • Experience coordinating post-production schedules or managing studio resources.

  • Familiarity with Pro Tools,iZotopeRX, DolbyAtmosand post-production audio workflows.
